FEROZ KHAN Bollywood legend dies at 69

Legendary Bollywood filmmaker and actor Feroz Khan has died aged 69. The veteran star had been suffering from cancer and passed away amongst family and friends in his Bangalore home. Dubbed the 'Clint Eastwood of the East', Khan was renowned for his swashbuckling roles as an actor, and was the first Bollywood director to introduce foreign location shooting, now a widespread norm in the industry. Feroz Kahn's biggest hit was the 1980 film 'Qurbani', which he directed, produced and starred in. Khan is survived by his son Fardeen Khan, a Bollywood actor; a daughter Laila Khan Rajpa, and brothers Sanjay and Akbar Khan, who are both actors and filmmakers.
