Ash the most powerful female actor

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been losing one after another endorsement but by winning with highest votes she has proved yet again that she did not lose her power and still ruling the film industry. An extensive survey showed that she is still on the top and has the ability to push behind her female contenders like Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and even Madhuri Dixit. Recently a survey conducted by a popular research agency, Hansa Research revealed that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is the most powerful female actor. The survey has been carried on large scale measuring the Celebrity Power in India.

What’s more interesting is that in the race of powerful celebrity her father-in-law and superstar Amitabh Bachchan has also garnered maximum votes. Ash bagged over 98.8 percent votes and Amitabh has also not scored bad. Cricketing star Sachin Tendulkar was few votes away from them.

Recently Ash was also honored with Padmashree award for her outstanding contribution to Indian cinema. The popularity of Aishwarya Bachchan is not ceasing down at all. With awards and prestigious recognition, she has brought pride and prestige to herself and to the Bachchan family.

Preity breaks up with Ness, dating Vikram

Preity Zinta after splitting away from Ness Wadia is not sitting mum and howling over her break up. Infact, the bold lady has soon found solace in the arm of a new man by the name Vikram Chatwal who is a New York-based businessman and hotelier and onetime model.

Both Vikram and Preity are lonely souls. If Preity has broken up with Ness then Vikram’s marriage with model Priya Sachdev is also on the verge of ending. The bonding between the two forlorn souls was best seen at Lakme Fashion Week, held at Mai Mumbai.

At the recently held Lakme Fashion Week when Vikram walked the ramp with Naomi Campbell, Preity from the audience seat was heard hauling and cheering thereby giving clear indication of some open secret affair. They not only hang out together on the show but at the party also they were seen hand in hand.

We can say that another relationship in the tinselville has gone kaput. Preity and Ness has been together for five long years.

Shilpa visits Golden Temple

Amritsar saw a whole host of celebs descend on the city iterally, because a flight had been chartered specially by Shilpa’s friend Kiran Bawa and her dad GS Bawa, so that they could all visit the famous gurudwara.

There was Shakti Kapoor, Aditya Pancholi, Mukesh Rishi, Ekta Kapoor with her parents Jeetendra and Shobha Kapoor, Prem Chopra, Anand Raj Anand, Jaspinder Narula, Monica Bedi, Abhijeet, Gurdeep and Arjun Punj, Hiten Paintal with his father Paintal, Poonam Dhillon and Anita, Pankaj and Niketan Dheer, among others.
The plane landed at Amritsar airport at 2 in the afternoon. Shilpa was dressed simply in a yellow salwar-kameez, and was accompanied by Raj. Shamita wore a pink suit, and walked alongside their parents Sunanda and Surender Shetty.

The airport was buzzing a huge crowd was waiting to welcome the guests with garlands and flowers. A special police band played a merry tune. The party reached the gurudwara around 3.30 pm. Shilpa immediately covered her head with her duppatta. Inside the gurudwara, again, there was a huge crowd waiting for a glimpse of all the stars. “Just the fact that I’m here is wonderful. I’m happy that my entire family and friends from Bollywood are here with me to do the sewa too,” Shilpa said. Her mother added, “We actually wanted to do some sewa, but looking at the rush here, we couldn’t.” Shamita, protecting her mother from getting pushed around by the crowd, said, “It’s been a great experience, but the rush was maddening and it spoilt our mood.”

Ash annoys Mani Ratnam

Mani Ratnam is a perfectionist. He studies every angle of his film minutely and never compromises his requirements with anything so how can he tolerate the disobedience of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. As Ash is playing Sita in Mani Ratnam’s Raavan, he is having a tough time in handling Ash who is doing things according to her own wish and not listening to him. The second part of the film requires Ash sans make-up but the most beautiful women of the world is adamant to put some make-up.

Mani instructed Ash to keep her make-up to the minimum as the scene speaks about her emotions of being separated from her husband. Mani knows that the natural look of Ash would go very well with the scene but who will make Ash understand the matter as she is not in the favor of facing the camera without any decoration. When Mani discovered that Ash has defiled him and she has put some basic make-up, he immediately asked her to wash it off but shockingly he failed to bend her.

Both Ash and Mani had a little difference on that particular issue and they stick to their own demands.

The latest darling of Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut was born in a village named ‘Bhambla’ in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh on March 20, 1987.

Her mother was a school teacher and her father was a businessman. She has one elder sister and a younger brother.

Kangana did her schooling in Chandigarh from DAV model school Sector 15 and later shifted to Shimla, where she completed her high schooling.

After that, she joined the Elite Modelling Agency situated in Delhi in 2003 to become a model. But she was not successful.

Before moving to Mumbai, Kangana joined Asmita Theatre group during 2003-2005 as a theatre. She came to Mumbai in early 2004 and struggled initially to join film industry, but she failed and went back to Delhi to finish her education.

In 2004, she joined Asha Chandra’s acting school to brush herself to face camera. After a fight of nearly two years, she met Anurag Basu in September 2005 and was selected for Gangster.

The girl has won many awards for her exceptional performances in her films. In 2007, she won Filmfare Best Female Debut Award, Gangster; Filmfare Fairever Fresh Face of the Year Award, Gangster; IIFA Best Female Debut Award, Gangster; Star Screen Award for Most Promising Newcomer - Female, Gangster; Zee Cine Award for Best Female Debut, Gangster; Stardust Superstar of Tomorrow - Female, Gangster and Bollywood Movie Award - Best Female Debut for Gangster.

In 2008, she won Stardust Breakthrough Performance Award (Female), Life in a… Metro; and in 2009, she bagged two awards for ‘Fashion’ including Stardust Best Supporting Actress Award plus Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award, Fashion.
